The Children's Water Festival is a great way for teachers to introduce the importance of conserving and protecting our water supply to their students. During the festival students will participate in three hands-on activities which are presented by environmental professionals. Each activity is approximately 25 minutes long and highlights a specific message about the relationship between water and our environment. By engaging in interactive activities, students are attentive and enthusiastic about learning.
In addition, students will attend an interactive musical show performed by Billy B; science and nature song and dance man! Billy's zany lyrics and use of popular melodies have been vital tools for educating students about the environment for over eight years! Billy's enthusiasm has the kids moving right out of their seats and onto the floor. They'll sing and dance while learning valuable lessons at the same time.
